What these findings mean

Health authorities word their violations differently, so we group them by what they mean for food safety. Higher-risk findings are the ones inspectors treat as critical, because they can directly make someone sick.

  • PestsHigher risk

Signs of mice, rats, cockroaches or flies, or gaps and clutter that let them get in or hide. Pests carry bacteria and can contaminate food and surfaces, so evidence of activity is treated seriously and usually triggers a follow-up visit.

Recorded once on September 23, 2026. For example: Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?

    1 infraction

    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Yes (corrected during inspection) - there was observation and evidence of about ten (10+) rodent (mouse) droppings inside the cupboard under the front service counter hand-wash sink, with most likely entry via the piping. The operator is to wash and sanitize this cupboard section and monitor the pest control situation closely over the next two weeks specifically, as was discussed. The operator has a regular monthly pest control contract with a licensed pest control company (with service reports available for review, and which are to be kept for a period of one year).
