The microdermabrasion machine uses a reusable diamond tip for exfoliating clients skin, which is classified as a semi-critical tool as it exfoliates dead skin. The facility uses a portable sink for equipment reprocessing, however, a permanently plumbed in sink is required for the reprocessing of semi-critical tools. Requirements discussed with the Operator, and they decided to no longer offer microdermabrasion services.**Note: mobile sinks may only be used for handwashing and the reprocessing of non-critical reusable tools.
