      • 1. Re-usable tweezers were being disinfected with bleach solution. Bleach is not a recognized disinfectant and should not be used to reprocess semi-critical re-usable equipment. Tweezers used for eye lashes must be disinfected with a high level disinfectant. High level disinfectant must have a DIN number, a TB cidal claim and specify that it is a "High Level Disinfectant"2. The PreEmppt RTU high level disinfectant was expired. Dispose of the expired chemicals and purchase a suitable high level disinfectant for use on re-usable tweezers.
