      • *Ceiling tile in the OSC room was noted to not be placed in a secure matter. Gaps were observed. Ensure ceiling tile is placed in a secure manner. *Holes in the wall and drywall exposed in several areas. Please ensure all areas are easily cleanable and impervious to moisture.

      • *Window ledge/sill was observed to be covered in artificial turf. This type of surface is not easily cleanable and impervious to moisture. Areas were observed in all rooms. All areas need to easily cleanable and impervious to moisture. During outbreak areas need to be disinfected more often.

      • Safety locking mechanisms for cupboards accessible to children were noted to not be able to lock. Ensure cupboards are locked. Door stopper for washroom door was missing. One wood door stopper observed. Ensure doors are safely managed.

      • *Sanitizer concentration was observed. Please increase concentration to a disinfection concentration (i.e. 1000 ppm bleach for the duration of the outbreak) or you can use another approved disinfectant as per company policy. Guidelines for surface cleaning/disinfection will be sent with this e-mail. *Cardboard and other porous materials were observed thought the rooms. Please remove all equipment/ baskets/plush throw pillows for the duration of the outbreak.*Water bottles were observed in close proximity (touching neighboring bottle). Ensure water bottles are adequately managed and not in close proximity.*Soiled pants observed to be stored in between 2 personal belonging baskets. Ensure adequate management of the dirty laundry.*Review flow of the laundry and storage of dirty laundry. Mesh containers were observed for all laundry storage. Unclear if there is a process in place to ensure a dirty to clean flow of laundry.

All areas need to easily cleanable and impervious to moisture. During outbreak areas need to be disinfected. *Toy shelf in foxes room observed to have areas with exposed wood. Ensure all equipment is in good repair and easily cleaned and disinfected.

      • *Diapering table in disrepair. Exposed wood surfaces observed.*Diapering mattress in disrepair. Mattress was observed to have tape covering tears. Ensure mattress is in good repair and can be cleaned and disinfected.* Play structure observed to be in disrepair. Ensure all equipment is in good repair and can be easily cleaned and disinfected.
    • 21. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Critical)?
      • *Water in the washroom on the NE side of the building was noted to be at 20.8C and 17 C for the neighboring bathroom (measured with a probe thermometer). Water temperature for foxes room was 16.3C. Washroom between the tigers and foxes room 17.8C.Ensure water is at the recommended temperature.

      • Electrical outlets in the Soaring Eagles room had no protective cover/cap. The missing cap was replaced during inspection.Please ensure electrical outlets in the facility are always covered with protective caps.
    • 29. Are washrooms / bathing facilities properly constructed, maintained and supplied (Non-Critical)?
      • A water closet in the female OSC washroom had no toilet paper. The toilet paper was replaced during inspection.
