    • 15. Is reusable equipment handled and stored properly (Critical)?
      • Some brushes at the nail station had a buildup of nail dust. Please store the brushes in a manner that protects them from debris.
    • 17. Is reusable equipment cleaned properly (Critical)?
      • Three nail trimmers were observed with visible debris after high-level disinfection. One of these trimmers were quite rusty. The rusty trimmer was disposed of. Please ensure all tools are properly cleaned before they are disinfected.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • - No CS20 test strips available on site. - High-level disinfection log was last filled out in July 2023.- Some nail trimmers were observed to still be visibly dirty after high-level disinfection. All high-level disinfectant must be tested daily and the results must be recorded in a high-level disinfection log. Before disinfection, all tools must be cleaned and all visible debris must be removed.Please also ensure tools are allowed to air dry after disinfection, they should not be dried with towels.
    • 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
      • Some cosmetic bottles at nail stations were not labelled. Please ensure all cosmetics are labelled.
