      • All of the water damaged areas were repaired and ceiling tiles were replaced.Preschool children room can be reoccupied and the OSC washroom was repaired.The toddler room washroom has been repaired; however the moisture meter measured and excessive amount of humidity in the top left corner above the doorway; please reopen this area and investigate the moisture and repair as necessary and replace all of the affected materials. Ensure to complete the work while children are not in the room.

      • Second hot water tank has not been connected and is not operational. Contact the plumber to ensure operational.

      • Restoration work is being conducted in the one of the preschool rooms in the basement; Contact AHS once the work has been completed and provide the supporting documentation and AHS will conduct a site visit prior to children occupying the room.

    • 19. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Critical)?
      • Play dough is currently being made in classrooms and is made with raw flour without an additional cooking step. A cooking step is required for this type of flour as the label indicates it is not for raw consumption. Handling by children may result in inadvertent ingestion of potentially harmful bacteria.
    • 20. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. Several bins in the facility were made of cloth and were unable to be cleaned and disinfected, or laundered. These were changed immediately. 2. For rooms where the water table may be open/available all day, these room must empty, disinfect and refill water tables.
    • 24. Are sleeping supplies and areas sufficient to ensure client safety and comfort (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. Staff jackets were stored on top of cots.2. Cots were fitted with sheets and stored sideways, allowing the sheets to contact the floor. Both instances were addressed during the inspection.
