      • 1) The blue carpet in Larch Room had an accumulation of debris.2) The blue carpet in Cedar Room had an accumulation of debris. - Carpets to be cleaned daily.

      • 1) There was an accumulation of debris noted under the diapering mats in Cedar Room and Elm Room.- Areas to be routinely checked and cleaned and disinfected. Areas were cleaned and disinfected during the inspection.2) A metal jingle bell toy in Larch Room was rusting, and paint was chipping off.- Toy was removed during the inspection.

      • There was an accumulation of debris noted under the diapering mat in Larch Room.- The diapering mat and surface was cleaned and disinfected during the inspection.

      • Damaged walls and visible holes were observed throughout the Oak Room. ***Please repair the damaged walls.

      • Chlorine bleach sanitizer spray bottle located in the Aspen Room (3-4) was not labelled.***Operator promptly labelled the spray bottle indicating the contents in the bottle was chlorine bleach.

      • Diaper changing straps located in the Cedar Room (12-18 month) and the Larch Room (2-3) were broken and detached from its anchoring point.***Please repair the straps from the diaper changing tables.
    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • Paper towel at the handwash sink located in the washroom by the laundry room was observed to be out of the dispenser. Paper towels should be in a dispenser that protects it from contamination.***Please stock the dispenser with a paper towel.

      • Dirt and debris were observed under the cushion of the changing table located in the Larch Room (2-3).***Please clean and sanitize the indicated area.

      • Toy bins located in the Oak Room were observed to have an accumulation of dirt and debris at the bottom of the bins.***Please clean and sanitize both the buckets and the toys inside them.

      • Children's individual bedding located in the Birch Room (4-5) were observed in contact with each other.***Please keep children's individual bedding separate and out of contact from each other.
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • Reusable eating spoons for children were observed to be mixed with craft materials located under the handwash sink of the Larch Room (2-3). Utensils and craft materials must be store separately to avoid cross contamination or accidental ingestion of craft material.***Please remove the reusable spoons from the craft materials and store them in its own distinguishable location.

      • Wooden toys were observed stored in the washroom of the Maple Room.***Operator promptly removed the toys from the washroom.

      • The central washroom beside the office had a maximum hot water reading of 57C.- Ensure hot water maximums for handwashing does not exceed 54C. 49C hot water maximum is recommended.
