Inspection summary

Britannia Brewing Co. has been inspected 4 times by Interior Health Authority since August 1, 2023. The most recent inspection, on September 16, 2026, recorded 1 infraction.

3 of 4 inspections on record found no infractions at all. In the past 12 months there was 1 inspection with 1 infraction recorded. The higher-risk findings here relate to: Pests.

The number of infractions per inspection has stayed roughly the same over time.

What these findings mean

Health authorities word their violations differently, so we group them by what they mean for food safety. Higher-risk findings are the ones inspectors treat as critical, because they can directly make someone sick.

  • PestsHigher risk

Signs of mice, rats, cockroaches or flies, or gaps and clutter that let them get in or hide. Pests carry bacteria and can contaminate food and surfaces, so evidence of activity is treated seriously and usually triggers a follow-up visit.

Recorded once on September 16, 2026. For example: 2 Are proper pest control measures in place on the premises?

About this data

These results come from Interior Health Authority, which inspects food premises and other public facilities in this area. We republish the authority's public disclosure data and refresh it regularly; the official record is the final word.

Hidden gem!! We had a flight to catch and a short time to spare, the staff took great care of us, the food came out super fast and my kiddos agreed that the burger was the best ever. I also dislike most rye IPA and thought this one was great. We'll be back for sure.

Drinks, atmosphere, food - this place has it all. We did a flight, as well as some other beer / cocktails and the drinks were *chef's kiss*. The hibiscus sour was absolutely incredible. Our meal was cooked to perfection, the steak was delicious and the garlic butter was mouth watering. We were so stuffed, but decided to go for the Honey Matcha Cake anyway, and it was so worth it. The matcha flavor was subtle and the perfect ending to each bite. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to come back and enjoy the patio in summer! 10/10 recommend.

I love Britannia! The beers, food, and vibes are so good. I especially love the Blondemosa beer, it is so refreshing on a hot day! I got the fish and chips, and it never disappoints. The outdoor area is so nice as well - dog and kid friendly! The staff are super nice as well and attentive :) highly recommend checking them out!

Following a spectacular rail trail bike outing to Vernon, four of us stopped into Britannia for the first time. They offer a spacious outdoor lounge area with picnic tables and chairs surrounding fire pits. Our servers were outstanding. Quickly took our orders. Appies were fresh & hot, and delivered quickly despite how busy it was. My hazy IPA was not too hoppy & very refreshing! I'll be back!

What a great place in the middle of nowhere. Bring your friends and family to come hang out, eat and drink. Food was delicious. Nice easy going atmosphere. Good service and drinks. Salman paella was spot on. Fish and chips were deep fried to perfection. Tacos were moist and tender. Ceviche was the only item that wasn't too my palate. So glad I came. Compliments to the kitchen.

I love this place. I’m a Calgary-transplant, and this place reminds me of my favourite breweries in Calgary’s Barley Belt that I miss so much. It’s beautifully appointed, it’s cozy, the staff are ALWAYS lovely, somehow they’re always playing my favourite music, and most importantly – the beer and food are consistently excellent. Personally, I like that it’s a little off the beaten path. I like that it’s a little small inside, and I love how big and bright the lawn and patio are. I do miss their veggie burger, but I really appreciate that they regularly update their menu with new, usually seasonal items. Their fries are battered, their soups taste like my grandma made them, and as a vegetarian I have even broken my own rules to enjoy their perfect fish n chips. Everyone that I’ve taken or been with, and everyone I’ve recommended to visit, has loved this place too. The only thing I don’t love is their chai saison, but that’s a me-problem. I love chai, I’m just not a fan of saisons. It would be fun to see more variety in their beer menu but I enjoy so many of their core beers that I can’t complain. Please, don’t ever leave Lake Country. I’ve started haunting your tables during weekdays to do schoolwork (since Lake Country doesn’t have any coffee shops open later into the day) in an attempt to support what I love, and I can only hope that it’s working!

Seven of us visited on a Wednesday evening (Quiz Night). Great fun and reasonable comfort food - salads, soups, burgers etc (duck leg was a bit small). Note the fish and chips is only on Tuesdays! Wide choice of local brews. We had two flights of four to sample most of them. Took some finding as it is down a back lane in the industrial sector of Lake Country but worth the challenge. Make Wednesday a regular night if you like team quiz nights.

First time visiting Great porter, and great food. Being in the industrial area is a bonus and their outdoor patio is huge sun hits from the west.

Stopped by on a whim and we left impressed! We had the peach bruschetta to start which was flavourful and light. Beers were good and great happy hour price. For mains we had the seafood spaghettini and deluxe chicken sandwich - recommend both for a tasty meal!
