      • Kinder room: 1. The corners of the reading bench’s backrest are damaged, exposing the porous inner material. Please replace/ repair and ensure the new outer covering is fully non‑porous.2. The window adjacent to the aquarium has a visible crack. Please repair or replace. 3. Another window is not locking properly, and the paint on the lower section is peeling. Please repair the locking mechanism and repaint the affected area.

    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • 1.. One of the windows in the kindergarten room is cracked and taped. Please repair this. Until the repair is completed, ensure children do not have access to this window and the condition of the window is monitored daily.
    • 27. Are proper measures being taken to ensure that vermin do not enter or exist in the facility (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. Mouse droppings were seen in the storage area room. Ensure the following:- Perform deep clean of the storage room.- Continue pest control efforts until pest control company confirms they are eradicated.- Provide an Executive Officer with Alberta Health Services with all reports provided by the pest control company.- Continue maintaining the cleanliness of all areas of the facility.
    • 27. Are proper measures being taken to ensure that vermin do not enter or exist in the facility (Non-Critical)?
      • The pest control report indicates that there are gaps around the exit doors. Please ensure all door gaps are properly sealed to make the area vermin proof.

      • 1.. One of the windows in the kindergarten room is cracked and taped. Please repair this. Until the repair is completed, ensure children do not have access to this window and the condition of the window is monitored daily.

      • Mouse droppings were seen in the various areas of the facility (hard to reach areas of the kindergarten room, dry storage space etc). Ensure the following:- Clean up the mouse droppings and disinfect thoroughly using 1000ppm bleach solution. - Contract the services of a professional pest control company. - Provide an Executive Officer with Alberta Health Services with all reports provided by the pest control company.- Maintain the cleanliness of all areas of the facility.

      • Some items in the first aid kit (antiseptic wipes) are expired/missing Please ensure to check the first aid kit as instructed by the manufacturer. Check that item are in good working order, have not deteriorated, and are within their expiry date.

      • 1. Kindergarten room: The baseboard is missing by the front door. Please repair.2. Junior Kindergarten: One of the drawers is missing from a cabinet by the fridge. Please repair. 3. Senior Kindergarten: The door of teacher's cabinet does not close properly. Please repair.
