      • 1. Solution in soaking tray was tested and failed. Ensure staff are filling tray with CS20 (undiluted). This was corrected during the inspection. 2. Tools in soaking tray were not fully submerged. This was corrected during the inspection. Ensure there is enough liquid to fully submerge tools.

      • There were used nail files in the UV cabinet. These were discarded during the inspection. Do not re-use single use equipment.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • 1. Tools were soaking in water and soap. Water was discarded and changed for CS20. Staff said they soak with water first, however this is not required as tools are washed with soap and water initially. Ensure only CS20 is placed in soaking tray. 2. There were no test strips for the CS20 on-site. Obtain test strips. 3. There was no log of CS20 testing on-site. Keep log of CS20 testing.
