    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Scoops were seen stored inside dry ingredients (flour, sugar) in the dry storage area. Corrective Action: Please remove all scoops from food ingredient and store separately to prevent contamination of the bulk source.

    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • -It was observed that the weatherstrippings at the back delivery door was maintained in good repair (no gaps were observed).- Pest control records were not located at the time of inspection. -Few mice droppings (5-10) were observed on the below shelves of one of the preparation tables in the front area. No food storage was observed on the indicated below shelves.- A hole was observed nearby which was sealed with the spray foam. Action required:-Please remove and clean the shelves (proper cleanup procedure will be provided to the operator with the report). -Please continue to work with the pest control company to take corrective actions to reduce/eliminate the pest. -Properly seal/cover all the holes and gaps in the facility.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • -The interior of the ice machine was maintained in a clean condition. However, the container used to store the scoop had dirt buildup. Action required:-Please clean the indicated container.
