      • There was unlabelled dry herring on site, and the source of the product could not be verified. In addition, Acheke (African cassava product) was found in the freezer without any labelling.Corrective Actions:• Ensure all food items are obtained from an approved source and are properly labelled.• Repackaging food is not permitted under a minimal food‑handling permit.• Maintain all receipts and invoices for food products at the facility at all times for verification purposes.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • The back door weather stripping was not sufficient to prevent pests from entering the facility.Corrective Action:Ensure the back door is properly sealed and fitted with adequate weather stripping to prevent pest entry into the facility.
