- A PREempt CS20 pour‑soaking tray was observed, and the following issues were noted:- Tools were not properly dipped or fully submerged in the solution.- The solution was tested using AHP 7% test paper and showed a failed result.- The solution appeared turbid and contained nail debris and cut nail pieces, indicating that tools were not being cleaned, or not being properly cleaned, prior to disinfection.Manicure and pedicure tools cleaning and disinfection was discussed with manager in detail. Instruction provided that the used tools must be cleaned properly to remove the organics/soil/debris and then use the disinfectant following manufacturer's instructions.**Re-usable tools cleaning and disinfection after each use, using the following procedure:o Clean with detergent and warm water to remove dirt and debris (scrub tools while immersed in solution)o Use a brush to clean (clean and disinfect brush after use)o Rinse under running water to remove detergent residueo Air Dryo Disinfect, by soaking in an appropriate container, also, ensure tools are properly submerged inside the solution (follow manufacturer’s instructions for contact time and rinsing) o Air Dryo Store items dry and covered to prevent re-contamination
