      • Please do not use 100% alcohol for skin cleansing, please find alcohol content between 60%-90%.Please note alcohol may not be used for sanitizing/disinfecting equipment, or workstations.
    • 17. Is reusable equipment cleaned properly (Critical)?
      • Operators were unable to properly show the PHI how to properly clean and disinfect semi-critical tools.ie. nippers, clippers, tweezers for eyelash extensions, cuticle pusher, manicure drill bits,metal emery boards and foot paddles.PHIs were able to show and demonstrate which tools require High-Level Disinfectant.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • Reusable semi-critical tools observed being clean with RTU a non-High-level disinfectant and then put into an autoclave that was not being lab tested or verified for effective sterilizing.CS20 was found on site, and semi-critical tools was demonstrated by the PHI to properly disinfect the tools.

      • Prohibited ingredients from Health Canadas list of prohibited ingredient cosmetic products, found in certain brow tinting products. Please dispose of any products containing PPDs (chloro-p-phenylenediamine)
