      • A damaged strainer with detached metallic wires was observed at the utensil storage area. The manager discarded the strainer during inspection.

      • Sewer gas odors were noted from the floor drain located in the main food prep kitchen, adjacent to the microwave oven. Two floor drains in the kitchen were covered with self-made tin covers. These covers do not allow for proper servicing of the floor drains, which are causing the plumbing p-traps in the drain to dry out and causing sewer gas to escape into the kitchen. Provide proper floor drain covers and service the taps by pouring water into the p-traps. December 19: Smell could still be observed over the floor drain next to the dishwashing Sinks. Basement Cake Room:A few ceiling tiles were missing and required replacement.Two holes were found on the wall surface located behind the tv-menu displays in the front service area and required repair.December 19: Ceiling tiles had been replaced, but one was not constructed of a material that rendered it smooth and easy to clean.

      • The handwashing sink by the ice machine is observed without hand soap. Ensure that handwashing sinks are maintained with hand soap and paper towels. The operator supplied liquid soap in the dispenser during the inspection.

Ensure that the cooler is repaired or replaced to be smooth, durable and easily cleanable.
