    • 313 - Live animal on the premises, excluding guide animal in approved areas [s. 25(1)]
      • Observation: A dog was present in the facility and a dog cage was in close proximity to the brewing equipment. Public Health Significance - Presence of live animals at a food premise can cause contamination of the food, food contact surfaces, utensil, and/or equipment.
      • Corrective Action: As per the Food Premises Regulation, an Operator must not permit live animals to be inside the facility. The only exceptions are live fish in aquariums and guide/service dogs outside of the food preparation, processing, and storage areas.
