  1. Routine Inspection

    2 infractions

    • 302 - Critical Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
      • Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Chlorine-Based Sanitizer at 0 ppm in Automatic Dispenser. Public Health Significance A chlorine sanitizer reading of 0 ppm indicates complete absence of active disinfectant. Using only water in place of sanitizer results in ineffective sanitization of dishes and food-contact surfaces, which may allow pathogens to survive and spread.
      • Corrective Action: The old dispenser was changed with Quats sanitizer an dthe solution was tested as 200 ppm of Quats. Ensure all staff follow correct dishwashing procedures and sanitize all equipment and surfaces using appropriately concentrated sanitizer. Reinforce training on proper sanitation practices. A re-inspection will be conducted to confirm compliance.
    • 307 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not of suitable design/material [s. 16; s. 19]
      • Observation: Use of Duct Tape on Food-Contact or Adjacent Surfaces (pizza dough prep tables and hand washing sink) Public Health Significance Duct tape is not a food grade or cleanable surface. It traps moisture, food debris, and bacteria, and cannot be adequately cleaned or sanitized. This creates a reservoir for contamination near food-preparation and handwashing areas.
      • Corrective Action: Remove all duct tape from food-contact and adjacent surfaces. Repair or replace surfaces so they are smooth, durable, non‑absorbent, and easily cleanable. Ensure all equipment and fixtures meet sanitary construction requirements.
