      • The total alkalinity was tested to be 34mg/L.The total alkalinity is to be kept within 60mg/L and 180mg/L. Please adjust the total alkalinity.
    • 14. Is the pool maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, good repair and are temperatures being properly regulated?
      • The temperature of the hot tub was measured to be 41.2C. The temperature was checked again at the end of the inspection and was measured to be 41.9C. Please reduce the hot tub temperature to a maximum of 40C and ensure the temperature regulator is working properly such that the temperature does not exceed 40C.

      • The flow rate exceeded the maximum flow allowed for the whirlpool. With the whirlpool built before November 2006, the maximum flow rate must not exceed the manufacturer's maximum flow rate. The maximum flow rate as per the manufacturer's specification is 100 GPM. Thus, please ensure to maintain the flow rate between 74.85 GPM and not exceeding 100 GPM.

      • Skimmer baskets were missing from the hot tub. Please install.

      • A clock was not visible from the hot tub. Please install a hot tub that can be easily seen from inside the hot tub.
    • 14. Is the pool maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, good repair and are temperatures being properly regulated?
      • The skimmer system had a build-up of green algae, grime, and debris. Please clean and sanitize the skimmer system.
    • 17. Does the pool have adequate written policies, plans and posted rules and safety information to ensure that the pool is operating in a safe manner?
      • Anti-entrapment plan must be updated to reflect it the hydro-jet system and recirculation system are interconnected or independent. Please also confirm the new VGBA-2017 covers are installed as per the VGBA-2017 instructions. Diagrams or pictures of the sump depth are required.
