    • 05. Is the chemical quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Non-Critical)?
      • The alkalinity of the water was 39 ppm. Please ensure the alkalinity is between 60-180 ppm.
    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • The manual pH reading was not consistent with the automatic reading. Please calibrate the probes.
    • 16. Are proper testing, monitoring, and other records being properly maintained?
      • Test strip is used to check water chemistry on the weekends. Dip and read strips must not be used to measure chlorine, pH or alkalinity. Please ensure the free chlorine, combined chlorine and pH are manually tested at least once per day.
    • 17. Does the pool have adequate written policies, plans and posted rules and safety information to ensure that the pool is operating in a safe manner?
      • Anti-entrapment plan - system max flow rate listed as 170 GPM (55 from circ, 115 from jet), but photo of jet flow meter shows that meter was maxed out. -Instructed operator to determine the actual flow rate of the jet system (e.g. replace flow meter with higher range, change pump, or use other method), and then make further adjustments to anti-entrapment plan if necessary
