      • Although the facility was generally clean, the floors and doors looked dirty and sticky, with visible handprints on the doors. The surface finishes on both floors and doors appears to hinder effective cleaning. All surfaces should be smooth, non-porous, and easily cleanable. Please redo, restore, or refinish the floor and door finishes.UPDATED - July 22, 2025:-After discussion with the director, it was confirmed that bleach is used to clean the vinyl flooring (installed the past year). Please ensure cleaning products are properly diluted/mixed and that manufacturer instructions are followed regarding suitable chemicals for the flooring type, as bleach can damage or discolor some materials.-The director indicated that the doors will be refinished/painted in coming months.

      • The daily cleaning checklist was not being maintained in the toddler room. Please ensure that all cleaning checklists are being completed.

      • 1) Kinder / OSC - the wooden door to the OSC was not finished. Please ensure the door is painted, smooth and cleanable.       • Kinder/OSC Room - the sink on the right was not properly operational. Please repair and ensure the sink is operational.

      • 1) Kinder/OSC Room - The hand sink in the room had gaps/holes around the sink. Please seal.2) The left handrail on the stairwell to the basement and top floor was not painted. Finishing required.3) Baby Room - The blue micro fridge in the baby room was not properly operational. Temperature was measured at 11C. Please ensure fridge is capable of maintaining temperatures of <4C. All fridges should have a thermometer to measure temperatures.
