    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • Food preparation (cutting strawberries) was observed to be conducted in the Junior Toddler (Sapling) room and not in the approved kitchen, while children were present in the room. Ensure that all food preparation takes place in the approved kitchen.
    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • Paint was peeling off the wall in the washroom used for diaper changing. Please repair.
    • 24. Are sleeping supplies and areas sufficient to ensure client safety and comfort (Non-Critical)?
      • Some sleeping mats available in Preschool (Aspen) room were not labelled. Please be advised that if sleeping mats are not assigned (labelled), they must be disinfected on both sides after each use and dried before storage.

      • No toilet paper dispenser and no paper towels dispenser were available in the Junior Toddler room. Please provide.

      • The blinds were in disrepair in Junior Toddler room. Please repair or replace.
    • 24. Are sleeping supplies and areas sufficient to ensure client safety and comfort (Non-Critical)?
      • Some sleeping mats available in Preschool (Aspen) room were not labelled. Please be advised that if sleeping mats are not assigned (labelled), they must be disinfected on both sides after each use and dried before storage.
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • Some children's cups/bottles were not labelled. It was addressed during the inspection.
    • 29. Are washrooms / bathing facilities properly constructed, maintained and supplied (Non-Critical)?
      • No toilet paper dispenser and no paper towels dispenser were available in the Junior Toddler room. Please provide.

    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • Antiseptic wipes expired in October 2023. They were replaced with antiseptic wipes expiring in April 2024 during the inspection.
