      • The operator of a food establishment must ensure that all handwashing facilities must be maintained appropriately to minimize the risk of contamination of food.
    • 19(3) A food establishment must have lighting, ventilation, heating, refrigeration and plumbing that is appropriate to the specific activities of the food establishment and that is considered acceptable by the Minister.
      • The operator of the food establishment must ensure adequate lighting is available in food preparation areas and the lights must be maintained or replaced as required and must be shatter proof or must have shatter proof shields to prevent contamination of the prepared food.
