- Written procedures for skin cleansing and accidental injuries were not complete. Please fill out page 2 of the AHS written procedure templates for waxing, manicure, pedicure, lash and brow services. Complete one for each skin cleansing procedure. Review and sign page 5. - 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- Accel TB wipes and Accel TB disinfectant spray onsite were both expired (2016 and 2017). Equipment and surfaces were not being adequately disinfected. A low or intermediate level disinfectant is required for surfaces (Ex. Preempt RTU). A high-level disinfectant is required for soaking esthetic tools (Ex. Preempt CS20 or HLD5). The corresponding high level disinfectant strips must be available to test the solution daily and results logged.
