- Flow rate was reading 44.6 GPM. This exceeds the limit for the high-rate sand filter. The maximum rate of filtration allowed in accordance with section 3.3.1(b) of the Pool Standards states: The maximum rate of filtration for a high rate sand filter must not be:b) greater than 8.5 litres per second per square meter (12.5 US gallons per minute per square foot) for a whirlpool. Based on this requirement the existing filter must be run no greater than 2.2 sq ft x 12.5 US gallons = 27.5 GPM. Have the flow rate reduced to ensure the max rate of filtration is not exceeded.

- Free available chlorine was tested and found to be 1.13 ppm. Operator raised the chlorine to 2.0 ppm. pH 7.3

- Total Alkalinity was found to be out of range. TA was lowered to 64 ppm. Please ensure the total alkalinity is kept between 60 - 180 ppm in accordance with the Public Swimming Pools Regulation and Pool Standards Section 4.5.1
