      • Flow rate was reading 44.6 GPM. This exceeds the limit for the high-rate sand filter. The maximum rate of filtration allowed in accordance with section 3.3.1(b) of the Pool Standards states: The maximum rate of filtration for a high rate sand filter must not be:b) greater than 8.5 litres per second per square meter (12.5 US gallons per minute per square foot) for a whirlpool. Based on this requirement the existing filter must be run no greater than 2.2 sq ft x 12.5 US gallons = 27.5 GPM. Have the flow rate reduced to ensure the max rate of filtration is not exceeded.

      • Free available chlorine was tested and found to be 1.13 ppm. Operator raised the chlorine to 2.0 ppm. pH 7.3

      • Total Alkalinity was found to be out of range. TA was lowered to 64 ppm. Please ensure the total alkalinity is kept between 60 - 180 ppm in accordance with the Public Swimming Pools Regulation and Pool Standards Section 4.5.1

The plan that is present does not appear to have the cover plate information for the make and model that are installed. Please submit updated plans that accounts for both pumps, all covers and all other required information.
