    • 11. Is post-service care provided by personal service workers following any personal service or accident where a client's skin or mucous membrane is cut or punctured during a personal service, or when energy-emitting equipment is used?
      • Post service care is provided verbally for services that puncture the skin, but service provider ran out of paper copies to provide. Clients will be emailed or texted the aftercare procedures until paper copies arrive.
    • 15. Is reusable equipment handled and stored properly (Critical)?
      • Lash extensions were being stored on a card and used after service on clients which could become contaminated. Only place extensions that are needed on the card and discard any unused lashes after each client as they may come in contact with the tweezers that have contacted client's eyes. Cards must be low-level disinfected between clients. Item was placed on garbage for disposal.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • One eyelash tool that comes in contact with mucous membranes was being low level disinfected only. This tool would be classified as semi-critical and therefore requires high-level disinfection. All other semi-critical tools are being properly disinfected.

    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • CS20 used for disinfecting. Tools were being submerged for 10 minutes. CS20 requires a 20 minute contact time. Operator advised to reprocess all equipment following the manufacturer's instructions for the disinfectant. All other steps taken for reprocessing were appropriate.
