    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • 1. High-level disinfectant (CS20) was expired as of 2023 during inspection. Alcohol was being used on tools for manicures and pedicures such as nail clippers, cuticle pushers, cuticle nippers. Obtain new high-level disinfectant and clean and disinfect all tools in the facility. 2. High-level disinfectant (CS20) was not being discarded daily. Follow manufacturer's instructions for use, CS20 must be changed daily, or used for up to 14 days with records of pass/fail testing daily with test strips. 3. Intermediate level disinfectant (PreEmpt RTU) used for pedicure basins was expired as of 2023 during inspection. Obtain a new intermediate level disinfectant for use in the pedicure basins.4. Alcohol was being used on the waxing bed between clients. The waxing bed must be disinfected with at minimum a low-level disinfectant.Obtain a disinfectant for the waxing room for disinfecting between clients.
