    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • The facility uses quaternary ammonium (Quat) sanitizer; however, test strips were not available to confirm the effective concentration remains within 200–400 ppm.Please ensure test strips, such as QT-10 or QT-40, are acquired and used to regularly confirm sanitizers are effective and remain within the effective range of 200–400 ppm.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • The handwashing sink within the store was accessible, provided warm water, and was stocked with soap and paper towels.---The handwashing sink in the side back room was stocked with soap; however, the paper towel dispenser was empty and the operator was unable to refill it.Please ensure the paper towel dispenser is stocked so the handwashing sink can be used to facilitate effective handwashing procedures when required.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • The exterior door on the right side of the building (right side when facing the back of the store from the entrance) did not form a tight seal with the door and floor.The front entrance door also did not form a tight seal when in the fully closed position.Please ensure door sweeps and weatherstripping are installed so that the doors form a tight seal, where no exterior light is visible between the doors, frames, and floor, to prevent the possible entry of pests.
