      • Spoiled bananas were found in the refrigerator located in the storage shed.Bananas were immediately discarded by staff.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • Handsink in the kitchen area had no soap. Soap was refilled by staff.
    • 18. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this food facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Sticky flytrap observed to be in close proximity to baked goods in the kitchen.Please ensure flytrap is either discarded or put in the back of the facility by the exit door.**Owner sent photos on Nov 21, 2024, and flytrap was removed from kitchen area.
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • The food handling permit is valid but not displayed.Please ensure it's posted so that it is easily visible to customers.**Owner sent photos on Nov 21, 2024, and permit is displayed facing customers.

    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • Observed temperature of mini-cooler at 8.6 C. Informed operator to move the items in the cooler to a functioning cooler. Operator will not use mini-cooler until it is fixed or replaced. All potentially hazardous food shall be stored at a temperature of 4oC (40oF) or less. Thisincludes foods that have been prepared and cooled to be served cold.

      • Facility did not have the food permit posted in a conspicuous manner. Operator corrected this in my presence.
