    • 19(2)(b) A food establishment must provide all of the following in accordance with applicable legislation or as considered acceptable by the Administrator: (b) adequately designed and appropriately located hand-washing facilities;
      • Repair/replace broken paper towel dispenser at handwash sink. Replace empty dispenser. Do no block handwash sink access.
    • 19(3) A food establishment must have lighting, ventilation, heating, refrigeration and plumbing that is appropriate to the specific activities of the food establishment and that is considered acceptable by the Minister.
      • Lighting levels too low in walk-in coolers. Additional lighting required.
    • 29(2)(a) A maintenance, cleaning and sanitation program must include procedures to ensure that all of the following are done: (a) the food establishment and equipment are maintained, cleaned and sanitized;
      • Cleaning required in the following areas: Under shelving in walk-in freezer Under cooking equipment.

      • Lighting in 2 of the walk-in coolers is too low. A flashlight was required to inspect areas of these walk-ins. Lighting levels must be a minimum 110 lux (at a distance of 89 cm (3 ft.) above the floor) in walk-in coolers

      • 1 handwash sink was blocked by a cart of trays. Ensure handwash sink are accessible at all times. Paper towel dispensers at 2 handwash sinks require paper towel

    • 29(2)(a) A maintenance, cleaning and sanitation program must include procedures to ensure that all of the following are done: (a) the food establishment and equipment are maintained, cleaned and sanitized;
      • General cleanliness requires improvement. Cleaning required in the following areas: Behind and under equipment/shelving units. Several ceiling air vents have build up of dust/debris. Mold noted on seals of some fridges (#9 and #14). Standup freezer at the end of the cooling line requires defrost of ice build up.
    • 29(2)(b) A maintenance, cleaning and sanitation program must include procedures to ensure that all of the following are done: (b) insects, rodents and other pests are controlled;
      • Currently dealing with rodent issues. Droppings noted on shelving in the bakery area. Pest control is contracted and coming regularly. Ensure any effected areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
