      • Produce Department Preparation Area:1. Kitchen hand sink was obstructed by a garbage bin. Corrected during inspection. Garbage bin moved away from hand sink.Action Required:Do not store any items in hand sink basins or around the hand sink to ensure easy accessibility of the hand sink to promote handwashing.2. Paper towel holder was not dispensing paper towel. Corrected during inspection.Action Required:Ensure all hand sinks are fully stocked with easy to dispense liquid soap, single-use, disposable paper towel and have hot and cold potable running water to facilitate effective handwashing procedures.Meat Department Preparation Area:3.     • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • -The self checkout area appeared to be clean. It was indicated this area was not on the cleaning schedule, but was cleaned as needed and was on the sweep log. Cleaning chemicals were available in this area. -Overall the facility appeared to be clean.-There were some spilled dry foods under the bulk bins and in Aisle 1, such as rice, chocolates and nuts. Have these areas cleaned to prevent attracting pests.

    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • -There was a gap underneath the emergency exit door in the back receiving area. Replace the weather strip to seal off gaps by ensuring there is no visible light shining through. This will prevent entry of pests.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • -There was food and crumbs undereath the dry bulk food bins next to the meat display coolers. Have this area thoroughly cleaned to prevent attracting pests.
