      • Handles of scoops were touching the food in the bulk food bin.Ensure handles of scoops are stored in such a way that they are not touching the food.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Pest control records are not being filled out.Ensure monthly pest control records are available onsite.
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • Food handling permit is not posted where it is easily seen by the public.Post food handling permit so it is visible to the public.

    • 11. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
      • Mechanical dishwasher was at 39C and 43C after it was warmed up and a few cycles were ran. Please look into repairing/replacing the unit to ensure it is at 71C or 100ppm chlorine at the dish level. Three compartment sink was equipped with detergent and bleach.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • A stack of paper towels were placed between the two hand sinks in the front kitchen area. Please relocate the towels or store towels in a bin to prevent back splashing (cross contamination). Washroom was equipped with soap and paper towels. There was cold water but no hot water. Please ensure there is hot and cold water or warm water available. Hand sink in the back kitchen was missing paper towels in the dispenser. Please refill with paper towels.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • Plumbing underneath the single compartment sink in the front kitchen was leaking and the cabinet was showing moisture damage. Please repair sink and the water damaged areas. The two hand sinks in the front kitchen, one faucet was dripping/leaking. Please repair. Operator was aware.
