      • Hand sanitizers expired in 2022. Ensure that hand sanitizers used have NPN/DIN, alcohol content between 60 and 90%, and are not expired.

      • Single-use tools (buffing blocks and nail files) were being reused. Ensure that single-use tools are discarded after each client.

      • Linen observed on the waxing bed in the waxing room was stained. It was reported that it is replaced once every 2 weeks. Ensure that the linen is replaced after each client, or remove the reusable linen and use disposable liners on the waxing bed.

      • Some re-usable tools (tweezers) observed in the waxing room were not visibly clean. Ensure that the re-usable tools are visibly clean prior to disinfection, and they are cleaned and disinfected between the clients.

      • No disinfectant was used for disinfection of pedicure bat fans: the fans were reported to be washed but not disinfected between the clients. The pedicure bath fans must be washed and disinfected with an appropriate disinfectant between the clients.
