    • 15. Is the facility free of a pest infestation?
      • Mouse droppings were observed everywhere on the floors in the back warehouse and also under the shelving units at the bread display areas and pet food display areas. Some bread packages and pet food packages were chewed by mice as well. Staff disposed of the affected packages during inspection.

    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • 1. Gaps were observed at the bottom of the middle door in the warehouse and also on the garage door/big door at the receiving areas. Gaps must be properly sealed off to prevent pest entry.2. Mouse droppings were observed on the floors in the warehouse. The mouse droppings must be properly cleaned up and affected areas must be properly disinfected as well.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • The shelving units used to display prepackaged baked and canned foods were observed dusty. Cleaning must be carried out to the above noted areas on a regular basis.
