- Facility does not have a written procedure for cleansing of skin prior to waxing.
- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- Semi-critical tools such as tweezers and extractors are to be disinfected with a high-level disinfectant (PREempt CS20). However, there were no test strips or usage/testing log for the high level disinfectant.Corrective Action:- An AHS high level disinfectant log template was provided for use.- Advised operator to obtain appropriate test strips for testing/usage of high level disinfectant.
