    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • 1. Staff stated that reusable semi-critical equipment are submerged in CS20 for 15 minutes. **Ensure equipment is submerged for a minimum of 20 minutes for adequate disinfection.2. Staff was using disinfectant without DIN number on non-critical surfaces such as service chairs. - Staff acquired Lysol wipes (a low-level disinfectant with DIN) during inspection. **Ensure disinfectant always have DIN or MLD issued by a Health Canada.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • Staff was reusing the CS20 for one week but was not completing high-level disinfectant testing on a daily basis. CS20 test strips were also not properly labelled. - Operator mentioned that he will remake the new CS20 solution every day. **Ensure CS20 solution is tested, and high-level disinfectant log is filled on daily basis if reusing the CS20 solution. **CS20 solutions must be discarded and remade if test fails.
    • 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
      • Reusable spoons were stored inside the sea salt scrub and lotion. - Operator removed the spoons during inspection. **Ensure spoons are not stored inside the bulk supply to prevent cross contamination. **Ensure spoons are cleaned in between the clients.
