- 304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
- Observation: Several mouse droppings found throughout the back storage area including between boxes of product behind seafood walk-in cooler/freezers and under boxed product along wall in hallway. Most product was either stored directly on the floor, on pallets or on old pop bottle crates which are all very difficult to clean under. Operator stated that they have a pest control company in twice a month and showed receipts.
- Corrective Action(s): Go through all of the product in the back storage area, moving it off crates and pallets and remove any droppings. Check all boxes for signs of pests, discarding any damaged product. Replace pop crates with a shelf at least 6" in height that can also be easily cleaned under so product does not have to be moved every time cleaning needs to be done under product. Due October 24th, 2019.
