- Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Walk-in cooler measured 10C. Temperature logs taken by store staff from December 1 - December 5, 2023 show temperatures at 13C.
- Corrective Action(s): Staff fixed cooler at time of inspection - temperature dial within walk-in cooler was accidentally adjusted when cooler was being stocked. Regardless, all potentially hazardous foods must be discarded as it has been above 4C/40F as per your own store records.

- Observation: (Seafood Department): Observed cutting knives were placed on the worktop beside the personal belongings. The left end of the seafood department was not in use for food handling activity. This corner had been used for storage of staff's personal belongings.
- Corrective Action(s): A separation is required between personal use items and kitchen tools. Remove not-in use items from the area and organize to ensure kitchen tools are stored separatly to prevent a chance of cross contamination. Given 2 days to correct

- Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A box of instant ramen noodles were being offered for sale (50% off) by #7 cashier. Seven or more of the bags had clear evidence of rodent damage (packaging chewed through). Photographs taken.

- Observation: All areas of the store (floor, shelving, product, storage areas) were observed to have mice droppings: shin ramyun & hot chicken flavour ramen display by produce section, underneath persimmons cabinetry, behind all rice pallets by entrance, in the back storage area, Aisle 1 - korean glass noodles & dried edible leaves, Aisle 5 - fine sea salt & korean pancake mix (product bag was chewed through), Aisle 6 - ramen & roll cracker, Aisle 8 - wheat noodles, Aisle 7, big shrimp snack, Aisle 9 - anchovy soup stock, Aisle 10 - ceramic bowls. Numerous packages observed to have obvious chew marks either on the periphery or completely puncturing through. Photographs taken.
- Corrective Action(s): Remove all products off shelving. Remove droppings, clean and sanitize all shelving units. Discard any rodent damaged/contaminated products immediately.

- Observation: Mice droppings observed on shelves in the aisles, under the aisle shelves, between the items in the retail area.
- Corrective Action(s): Pest control is contracted out once a week. Reports are on-site. Remove plastic barriers on the aisle shelves and clean under them. Wash the barriers as well. Continue to clean the droppings under the shelves. Seal the hole under the entrance door leading from back storage into the deli kitchen.

- Observation: There is a severe rodent issue at the facility. Several pictures taken. There are droppings under every shelf in the aisles, under and around where the kimchi fridges are stored, in the dry storage room and the back storage area. Open bait also observed under most of the shelving.
- Corrective Action(s): Use of open bait at a Supermarket/Restaurant is not permitted. Remove all the bait. Clean up all the droppings under and on the shelving in the aisles. Discard all the items mentioned during discussion. The back storage room needs to be decluttered. Move all crates of items away from the dry storage room. Find the entry point into the room and seal it. Remove items and clean all shelving. Orkin Pest control is on contract and is coming in for servicing twice a month. Just setting traps is NOT enough. You need to have an IPM strategy in place. If Orkin is not providing you with that, then you need to switch to another pest control company. Increase frequency of servicing to once a week until the problem improves.
