      • The facility does not have written procedures present regarding the services offered at the personal service. For example, in case of an accidental cut or puncture or knowing the procedure and products for applying an antiseptic or a cleanser to the skin.Ensure that the facility has written procedures that are specific to the services being offered at the personal service. Cleansing of skin, applying antiseptic, post care service and accidental cuts/punctures are the forms that would need to be filled out.

      • No paper towels for handwashing at the waxing room handwashing sink. Provide paper towels in a dispenser for handwashing.
    • 13. Is single-use or uncleanable equipment being used as intended (Critical)?
      • 1) Used nail files, callus scrubber and toe separators were drying in the basket by the reprocessing sink. 2) Used "self-seal disinfected tool bags" were found inside the drawer.3) Used single use disposable flip flops were found on the cartDiscarded this single use items. Discard single use items after a single use.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • 1) Manicure and pedicure tools were not properly disinfected. PREempt CS20 disinfectant failed the test strips test. PREempt CS20 was used for more than one day. No test strips were available to verify that the PREempt CS 20 maintains adequate disinfectant strength.PREempt CS required to be discard at the end of the day if test strips are available to test it daily.Test and record the disinfectant daily if disinfectant is used for multiple days. 2) Pedicure foot file was soaked in low level disinfectant PREempt RTU and PREempt RTU soaking the pedicure foot file only halfway. 3) Drill bits were soaked in alcohol at the manicure station.Drill bits require to be washed and disinfect with a high-level disinfectant with DIN.Semi-critical tools require high level disinfectant such as PREempt CS20.

      • 1) Wax stains noted on the waxing table plastic cover. 2) Dust on the decorated ingredient containers. 1 to 2) Clean these items.
