      • Facility specific written procedures were not completed. Templates for required written procedures were provided. Procedures were reviewed during inspection onsite.
    • 06. Do operators and personal services workers comply with the Personal Services Regulation and Standards and do they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties in a safe and sanitary manner?
      • Operator demonstrated insufficient knowledge of personal service regulation and standards. Non-critical, semi-critical and critical categories of tools, how to select and types of disinfectants were reviewed during inspection.Links to personal services regulations and standards were provided to the operator for review.

      • 1-No high level disinfectant was present.Obtain high level disinfectant with its test strips to disinfect semi critical tools used in facility.2-Intermediate level disinfectant passed its expiration date. Discard all expired products.3-Intermediate level disinfectant Pre-empt wipes did not have expiration date. Label was removed from the container.4-Manufacturer instructions for use for all disinfectants were not reviewed by operator prior to use. Contact times of the disinfectant were reviewed during inspection.Ensure to review manufacturer instructions from the label of the containers prior to its use.

      • 1-Several bottles and containers were noted without adequate labeling.Label all the containers to allow safe use of their contents.2-There were no procedures established to protect the pedicure bulk supplies of products. Pre-portioning of products are required prior to offer service to the client.

      • Pillow covers were porous and water absorbent in the eyelash extension room. Obtain water proof covers for the pillows.
