      • A dented can of beans was observed in the dry storage during the inspection.The operator discarded the can on PHI's requested.Ensure dented cans are discarded. Damage due to dent can break the airtight seal, which could allow harmful bacteria to enter the can.
    • 07. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
      • Two containers in the walk-in cooler containing food items were observed to be covered with black garbage bags.A food handler removed the garbage bags and covered the food using appropriate lids on PHI's request.Food items must not be covered or stored in garbage bags.Black garbage bags are not food grade and often contain toxic non-food grade plastics.
