      • There is no sink available that is dedicated to toy washing. Install a two compartment sink that can be used for cleaning and sanitizing/disinfecting toys. This sink cannot be dual purpose as a bathroom sink, or a sink that is used for diapering hand hygiene. Additionally, a sink should be available for staff hand hygiene when handling client foods (This can be dual purpose with toy washing sink).
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • There is a lack of storage for personal items of clients.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • There is a cracked windowpane in the preschool room.

      • Water temperature measured at the faucet level in portable 2 was measured with a probe thermometer to be at 55C.
    • 29. Are washrooms / bathing facilities properly constructed, maintained and supplied (Non-Critical)?
      • Light in portable 1 washroom was burned out. Ensure lighting is available. Another washroom available for use.

      • Leak observed in one of the washrooms in the location 1 pod. Ensure plumbing is in good condition. Flushing of the lines is recommended for both locations.
    • 31. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Critical)?
      • No hot water observed in location 2. Hot water measured to reach a maximum of 15.6 C (measured with a probe thermometer). Ensure hot water is available.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Both locations will need to be secured and adjusted for childcare (i.e. childproofing).Slippery stairs outside were observed. For both pods it was noted that the stairs were slippery due to ice buildup. Please ensure stairs are safe to use.Light covers in location 2 observed to be missing, Ensure lights are maintained in a safe matter for childcare.
