- Single-use nail buffers and files are being reused on other clients.All single-use items must be disposed of after being used on a client.January 13, 2025- Single use disposable nail files were still stored in boxes marked with the client's name and phone number. It was explained to the operator that this practice is not allowed as porous and uncleanble equipment must be discarded after use on one client.

- Equipment was not adequately cleaned prior to disinfection. Disinfectant solution (Preempt CS20) was visibly dirty. There was a pile of skin, nail clippers, and other debris at the bottom of the disinfectant solution, indicating that equipment is not visibly clean prior to disinfection.

- Required test strips (AHP 7) were not available to test the efficacy of the disinfectant solution.Until test strips are acquired and used, the disinfectant solution must be drained and refilled daily.
