      • 1. Baby room: A portable change table was currently being used for diapering. Portable change tables are not stable, are constructed with absorbent materials, and are difficult to sanitize effectively. Please remove this equipment from use.2. Cattle Cow room: A tall bookshelf was observed unsecured. Please secure the unit to prevent the risk of tipping.

      • 1. Baby room: A portable change table was currently being used for diapering. Portable change tables are not stable, are constructed with absorbent materials, and are difficult to sanitize effectively. Please remove this equipment from use.2. Cattle Cow room: A tall bookshelf was observed unsecured. Please secure the unit to prevent the risk of tipping.3. Cattle Cow: The baby gate was not installed properly. Please install it correctly to prevent safety hazards.

      • Hallway washroom, Girl's washroom: The paper towel dispensers were empty, and the loose roll of paper towel on the counter did not have a holder. Please ensure paper towels are stored and dispensed in a sanitary manner to maintain proper hygiene.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • The top of the washer was observed to be dusty. Please clean and sanitize the surface thoroughly.Preschool room: The closets were cluttered. Please organize.
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • Baby room: Children's blankets were observed touching one another. Please store children’s belongings separately to prevent contact.
    • 31. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Critical)?
      • 1. Baby room: The diapering mat was ripped. Please replace.2. Same disinfectant bottle was used for diapering and general sanitizing of the toys and other surfaces. Please ensure two disinfectant bottles are available. One for diapering and one for other areas of the classroom.3. All classrooms: Used cleaning rags were hung on the faucet/ on the counter. Please ensure the following:- cleaning rags are used only once and then disposed of or laundered. This prevents cross-contamination and bacterial spread. - place clearly labeled bins in each classroom for used rags.4. Washroom: A rag was used to disinfect the diapering mat. Please refrain from using cloths and instead use paper towels for cleaning and disinfecting diapering mats.

      • There is a stand up bar, treadmill, and other mats (that are too small and did not have enough coverage) used for gymnastics found in the classroom. Please remove the gymnastics equipment as there is no information on whether or not the equipment is age appropriate. Remove the mats as well as they do not provide enough coverage or sufficient surfacing beneath the gymnastics equipment to prevent injury. Operator removed the equipment and mats immediately.

      • The floor to ceiling glass windows and doors along the infant and preschool rooms are not tempered or safety grade glass.Please ensure 3M film is applied to all glass windows and doors that are accessible to children within 1 metre.
    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • There is missing silicone/caulking around the edges of the hand wash sink counter top in the central washrooms (on the left hand side where the toilets are located).Please ensure the the edges are filled with silicone or caulking to prevent any water from penetrating and to facilitate easy cleaning.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • There is no resuscitation/CPR barrier or mask available in the first aid kits.Please ensure there is a resuscitation/CPR barrier or mask available in the first aid kits.
