We recently ordered the Schezwan Noodles and the Mixed Chow Mein from Himalayan Restaurant, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. The Schezwan Noodles were definitely the highlight of the meal. They had great flavor, a nice balance of spice, and were packed with ingredients. The portion size was generous, making it excellent value for money. It was the kind of dish that kept you going back for another bite. The Mixed Chow Mein was also good and came in a substantial portion. While it was tasty and satisfying, I found it a little more oily and salty than I would have preferred. That said, it still had good flavor and plenty of ingredients, so it was enjoyable overall.

Try their chow mein and fried rice—OMGggg, they’re so good! 🤤 The only downside is that they’re always understaffed, so the service can take a little longer. Also, please reserve your seats beforehand; otherwise, you probably won’t get a table because they’re always busy. I literally went their from Vancouver just to try their as someone recommended me Their food is SO good—yummy, flavourful, and authentic. If you love Nepali food, you’re definitely going to love this place! ❤️

I randomly chose this restaurant while visiting Kamloops and it totally blew me out of the water. We ordered Chicken Tass and Jhol Momo - both were really good. Jhol was pretty spicy but in a good way. Portions were generous and prices were fair. The only downside is that we waited a while for the dishes to come, but other than that it was amazing! I would definitely come back often if I lived close by.

Had an absolutely amazing experience at Himalayan Kitchen & Bar! If you’re looking for authentic Nepali/ Indian food in Kamloops, this place is a hidden gem. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff make you feel right at home. The food is next level 👌 — the momos are a MUST TRY, perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Every dish we ordered was fresh, rich in spices, and truly authentic. You can tell everything is made with care and quality ingredients. Service was outstanding as well — friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. It really elevates the whole experience. Honestly, one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Kamloops. Whether you’re new to Nepali cuisine or already love it, this spot will not disappoint. Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be coming back! 🙌

Absolutely Amazing – A Hidden Gem! We had such an incredible dining experience at Himalayan Kitchen & Bar! This place is truly one of the most underrated restaurants we've visited. Every dish was packed with authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. The Malai Momos were incredibly soft, creamy, and full of flavor. The Butter Cheesy Momos were an absolute standout—rich, indulgent, and easily some of the best momos we've ever had. We also ordered the Hakka Noodles and Fried Rice, and both were perfectly cooked with amazing taste and just the right amount of seasoning. The food was served fresh and hot, the service was warm and welcoming, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for delicious Nepalese, Indo-Chinese, or Indian cuisine, this place deserves a visit. This restaurant deserves so much more recognition. We'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone in the area. Don't miss out on this hidden gem! 10/10 – Highly recommended! 🌟🥟🍜
