      • Bleach/chlorine sanitizer was measured at 1000ppm with bleach/chlorine test strips. Ensure bleach/chlorine sanitizer is maintained at 100ppm. The operator prepared a 100ppm bleach/chlorine sanitizer during the inspection.

    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • -Several large black flies were found in the kitchen.-Pest control records were not being maintained.-Pest control methods were discussed. The operator plans to place sticky fly traps in the kitchen; however, the fly traps must not be placed near or above food handling areas.1. Please increase cleaning and sanitation to control flies.2. Ensure all waste is properly contained, kept covered, and removed regularly.3. Install pest control devices in appropriate areas.4. Maintain monthly pest control records.5. Please ensure that doors leading to the kitchen remain closed, and that any gaps in doors leading to the facility are properly sealed.

      • The kitchen was generally well-maintained and sanitary, except for a gap along the floor between the oven and the kitchen counter, where debris buildup was noted.Please clean this area and ensure that all hard-to-reach areas are regularly cleaned and maintained.Please continue to maintain cleaning checklists.
    • 24. Is solid and liquid waste being managed in a suitable manner?
      • A garbage container and recycling bags were found uncovered. Please ensure that all waste/garbage is properly contained in leak-proof containers, always kept covered, and removed regularly. This helps prevent pests like flies, control odors, reduce the risk of contamination, and maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
