Please provide a photo once this has been conducted.

The hot water temperature at the handwash sink in the 2 - 3 year old room measured 61.6 degrees Celsius.April 7, 2026 Update:-As per discussion with Noella and Nasrin, the school facility staff indicated it is not possible to reduce the hot water temperature without impacting the availability of the hot water. Please provide a safety policy outlining staffing measures and water temperature checks to reduce the possibility of scalding.

- The light in the bathroom of the Young Toddler's room was not in operation.

- i. The stool in the bathroom of the 3 - 5 year old room was in poor repair. The stool was coming apart along the side/bottom and the rubber material along the top was no longer secured.ii. The coat cubby in the 3 - 5 year old room was not secured to the wall. As a result, the coat cubby was capable of being tipped over. iii. The coat cubby in the infant's room was not secured to the wall. As a result, the coat cubby was capable of being tipped over. iv. The interior doorknob in the bathroom of the Young Toddler's Room was taped. Staff advised they had taped it to secure the lock in place/prevent children from activating the lock. The staff members indicated they replace the tape on a daily basis. Remove the tape from the doorknob as it is not easy to clean. Recommend replacing the doorknob with one that does not have a locking mechanism.

- A number of the foam block toys in the Young Toddler's room had bite marks present.When the foam blocks have been chewed/damaged in this manner, ensure they are discarded as the products are inherently difficult to clean/sanitize.

- Lilas room: Chemicals were accessible to children with lock not secured.Child lock secured at time of inspection.

- Diapering procedure observed:- Gloves were removed and new pair were obtained. Reminded staff to hand wash after each diaper change regardless of glove use.

- Toy washing was discussed - program requires a designated sink for toy washing that is not shared with diapering hand sink (Infant and Room 117).Out of school care program is required to use a designated sink with potable water. Please provide written procedure for toy washing in these rooms and ensure the remaining rooms use second sink for toy washing.
