    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • No soap at kitchen line handwashing sink. Conor stepped out and purchased a bottle of hand soap. Ensure that soap is available at this hand sink at all times.

    • 09. Are chemicals stored and handled in a safe manner?
      • The operators were reusing food buckets to store the quat sanitizer and were not labeled. All chemical solutions must be adequately labeled with the content inside for staff awareness and safe usage of the product. The operator labeled all the buckets at the time of the inspection.
    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Test strips were not available to measure the quat sanitizer or iodine solution for the glass dishwasher. The concentrations were measured at a satisfactory level. The operator stated they make a new solution of the sanitizer prior to opening and change the solution every two hours. Test strips must be maintained to test the concentration of the sanitizer to ensure surfaces and/or dishware are adequately cleaned and sanitized. Obtain quat and iodine test strips and ensure concentrations are tested daily.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • There was a dishware in the designated hand sink in the bar area and was not accessible to staff. Ensure the designated hand sink is always accessible for staff members to perform sufficient hand hygiene. The operator removed the dishware at the time of the inspection.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • No pest control records available onsite at the time of the inspection. Pest control records must be maintained to monitor pest issues where an assessment should be conducted on a monthly basis. Please ensure pest control records are maintained onsite and available upon request of a Public Health Inspector. A pest control template will be provided to the operator.
