    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • Pine room diapering stand did not have a belt to secure a child in place Attach a belt to the surface so it comes up and over the child to secure them in place. Provide an update to this office.
    • 19. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Critical)?
      • Pine room(toddler): toys being washed and laid out to dry within the diapering sink/counter area. Toys must only be washed and sanitized on the other side of the room where there is another sinks/counterToy washing must not every take place in any diapering or washroom sinks Please post signage in the toddler(pine) diapering sink area noting No Food items and No toy washing and then provide an update to this office
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • 1. Toddler room(pine) there was a bucket with several labelled soothers together. The bucket was not labelled. Staff indicated the soothers are clean yet there was no dirty soother bucket.Separation of items is important to avoid cross contamination, and the routine needs to be simple so that all staff can follow the procedures. Please keep labelled soothers in their own washable labelled container. If using kitchen to sanitize these items, please return them to the room within their labelled container.Please provided an update to this office.3. Toddler room(pine) there were labelled diapering items such as creams on the diapering table at the foot of the pad. Please keep these personal items away from the diapering pad such as in the storage below. 2. Personal water bottles: a few of the rooms had bottles in a storage container all toppled over, children touch other bottles when reaching or looking for their own. Please provide better separation of items.

    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • Baby room: toys being washed in the sink next to diapering pad. This is a dedicated sink for handwashing and not to be used for toy washing. Other end of counter has two comp sink which works well for wash, rinse, sanitize & dry toy washing stepsSame with Pine room: The one counter has diapering area and sinks. Toys were in the sink for washing. Please use the counter on opposite wall that has a two-compartment sink which is a great spot for toy washing
