      • 1.Small animal toys were found in the pre-kindergarten room (blue room), which create a choking hazard. Operator removed the toys from the room during the inspection2. String lights were hanging from the wall and accessible to children.Operator rehanged the lights to ensure they were out of reach for children.

      • The tv's in the kindergarten and Junior kindergarten room were not anchored or secured.Please anchor or secure the tvs to the prevent the risk of it falling.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. The red furniture in the kindergarten room had damaged upholstery, making it difficult to clean. Please repair or replace the furniture to ensure it is smooth, non-absorbent, and easy to clean.2. The ottoman in the junior pre k room (green door) was damaged on the inside. Please repair or replace the ottoman.3. The drywall by the toy shelfs in the junior pre k room (green door) was worn down making it difficult to clean.Please smooth and refinish the wall.

      • The hand sink in the junior pre-k room (green door) had a temperature of 54.4, which exceeds the maximum temperature of 54C.Please adjust the hot water temperature so it is below 54C (AHS recommends a maximum temperature of 49C).

      • 1. Toddler room: The hard-to-reach area by the fridge is dirty. Please clean and sanitize thoroughly. 2. Toddler room: The recycle bin is dirty. Please clean and sanitize thoroughly. 3. Last classroom: The washroom floor is in disrepair. Please repair.4. Preschool room: The cover of the reading corner chair is visibly dirty. Please clean/ replace.5. Preschool room: The caulking behind one of the hand sinks is in disrepair. Please repair.

      • 1. Kinder room: Hot water temperature at one of the washroom hand sinks was 56C. Please ensure maximum hot water temperature is below 54C (AHS's recommended maximum is 49C).2. There was not enough supply of hot water at hand sink in the toddler's and preschool's washroom. The maximum hot water temperature of the toddler sink was 23C. Please ensure hand sink has hot/cold running water.

      • 1. Preschool room:(second room from entrance): Some of the sleeping mats were in disrepair and exposed the inner material. Please replace these mats to ensure it is nonporous and easily cleanable.2: Preschool room: Some of the sleeping mats (with bedsheets) were in contact with other child's sleeping mat. Please ensure adequate separation is in place during storage to ensure the mats with bedsheet are not touching each other's.

      • Kinder room: Cleaning gloves were stored on top of papertowel.Staff removed the gloves. Violations corrected onsite.

      • 1. Jr PreK room - there is only one bottle of bleach disinfectant that is being used for both diapering area and for tables and toys.- Ensure there are two dedicated labeled bottles of bleach disinfectant, one for tables and toys only, and one for diapering surfaces only.
    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • 1. There is no paper towel available by the sinks in the classrooms.- Ensure soap and paper towels are available at the classroom sinks to allow for adequate hand washing.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. PreK room - significant paint chipping off wooden blocks.- Repair/replace, ensure play equipment is in good condition.
    • 24. Are sleeping supplies and areas sufficient to ensure client safety and comfort (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. Jr PreK room - Bedding is not kept separate when stored.- Ensure bedding is separated when stored.
