      • Bleach solution spray bottle was not labelled. **ensure all spray bottles are labelled with their contents.
    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • Shelving units throughout the facility had chipping paint and the wood was in disrepair. ** Sand and repaint the shelving units. So they are smooth, non-porous, and easily cleanable.
    • 19. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Critical)?
      • Toys were not being cleaned and disinfected properly in the facility. ** 3 bucket method is required for cleaning and disinfection of toys. First Bucket: Scrub the toys with soap and water to remove physical soil. Second Bucket: Rinse with fresh water. Third Bucket: Disinfect using an approved disinfectant (1 minute soak in 100ppm bleach). Air dry.

      • Toddler room diapering safety belt was not attached to the pad. Fix or replace safety belt.

      • Child lock on the bathroom cupboard was not in place. Chemicals were stored in this cupboard. Ensure child lock is secured each time.This was corrected during inspection.

      • Light burnt out in the baby room. Staff are aware and have ordered a replacement.
